Tres Colores Tostadas
Three tostadas, arranged to echo the colors of the Mexican flag. Green carries shredded chicken with salsa verde and avocado; white is refried beans, crema and cotija; red is barbacoa with fire-roasted red salsa. Serve them together on one platter and let people choose.

Prepare the Del Real Foods Shredded Chicken, Barbacoa, and Refried Beans according to package instructions.

For the green tostada, top a tostada shell with the Shredded Chicken, Del Real Foods Fire Roasted Green Salsa, diced avocado, and chopped cilantro.

For the white tostada, spread the Refried Beans over the tostada shell, drizzle generously with Mexican crema, and finish with crumbled cotija cheese.

For the red tostada, top the tostada shell with the Barbacoa, Del Real Foods Fire Roasted Red Salsa, chopped white onion, and chopped cilantro.

Arrange all three tostada varieties on a platter and serve immediately.
What is a tostada?
A tostada is a corn tortilla fried or toasted flat until it snaps. It works as an edible plate — beans, meat, crema, cheese, whatever's on hand — and is eaten with both hands, usually over a napkin. The word simply means "toasted."
